Members of YAYAS are entitled to attend the Society's lectures without charge, to book places on excursions, to receive YAYAS Times/Annual Report and the journal York Historian, and to buy Society publications at beneficial prices.

Not sure whether you want to join? Feel free to attend our lectures - all we ask is that you make a small contributory donation (£2-3 is typical). After enjoying a lecture or two, you may feel YAYAS is for you!

Contributions to York Historian, the Society's in-house journal from both members of the Society and others are welcomed and should be sent to the Editor (see Contact Us).

Donations at lectures are gratefully received and help YAYAS to continue to work towards preserving Yorkshire's valuable heritage.
Volunteer.
YAYAS Council is always keen to welcome volunteers. There are several positions open, each with potential for the right person to learn useful new skills and expand their CV! Positions are flexible and can take as much or as little time per week as you wish to give. See here for details regarding opportunities.
