The Photographic Collections
At YAYAS we are fortunate to have at our fingertips a fantastic set of renowned resources concerning historic York. Perhaps our most valuable resource is the knowledge in our members' heads, so please feel free to contact us if you have a specific or general query you feel we may be able to answer. Our more tangible resources consist of an impressive set of late 19th-early 20th century glass-plate negatives containing many fantastic early photographs of York together with a series of 35mm slides and the Palliser Collection which contain images from more modern times.
